Water-based polyurethane dispersion for wood coatings

SRI RESIN U-9009 is a one-component, water-based polyurethane dispersion synthesized with a self-crosslinking mechanism at room temperature for outdoor and indoor wood substrates.

• Self-crosslinking: can be applied without need of any hardener (adding a suitable hardener would increase the hardness and chemical resistance properties)
• Fast drying time
• High gloss and clarity give the clear natural wood look

+ Resistance properties:

• With 3 layers of Sri Resin U-9009 on Teak Wood surface by brush method. Testing after air dried for 7 days

       Notes: 1 = bad, 5 = good

• Very good mar and scratch resistance with the film after air drying for 7 days

+ Application Guidelines:

• Sri Resin U-9009 can be applied directly on the wooden surface. It has very good wood wettability. If needed, we recommend adding small amount of wetting agents (0.2 to 0.4% and defoamers (0.1 to 0.25%). If some cracking is noticed on substrate, the resin can be formulated to form continues film by adding small amount of forming film agents.
• Sri Resin U-9009 forms a high gloss film.
